Quick Update on Replying to Your Comments

Hi Everyone, first off, thanks so much for taking an interest in the blog, secondly, thanks also for the likes on the posts and thank you so much for taking the time to send me a comment. I love reading your feedback.

In relation to your comments, Alex shared that she doesn’t get a notification if I respond to the comment she has posted. I was shocked. Does this mean you are all out there, going “this ungrateful bastard, can’t even be bothered to acknowledge me? I so hope not and apologies if that was the case for you.

I do know what that is like. I have about half a dozen unanswered messages on Ancestry at the moment and even a couple on here. You think, well why the hell did I even bother?

I assure you that is not the case for me. I always try to send you a response or if I get caught up, I at least hit the like button on your comment, out of the 122 comments on the blog, I think I’ve missed maybe 5.

I have done a few screenshots below to show you. So if you have sent me a comment and never seen a response from me jump back onto the post you made the comment on and you will hopefully find a comment or a like from me.

Thanks again for coming along on this ride with me and maybe it has inspired you to look into your own family history. Give it a go, you might be surprised by what you find or who you connect with. The National Library of Australia, Trove site, is the place to start for any history in Australia. Happy to lend a hand if you need help.
